My Opinion
Pani Puri is the go-to snack for people in India. It is small, crunchy, and full of taste. Pani puri is a popular street food, and one can find long lines for people waiting to eat this dish. Being connected to my roots is very important for me as I have grown up in the US. So making this dish was very special for me, as I felt a deep connection with India. This dish is very easy to make as you buy the puffs at any local Indian store. The filling inside is gluten-free, so you can eat without worrying about unwanted carbohydrates in your body. The fun part of this dish was making the spicey water because I got to use cilantro from my garden, and the taste was incredible.
The great thing about this dish is that you can make it with anything and call it pani puri. If you are health conscious, you can make the puff out of cucumber and put fillings based on your needs. Also, it helps in reducing weight.
The best part about this dish is that while making it, there is no waste because it has to be consumed immediately after making it. On the streets of India, long lines for people can be seen waiting to eat this dish.
